Jimmy Tingle, famed comedian and owner of Jimmy Tingle's Off Broadway Theater in Davis Square, produces a monthly program on SCAT Channel 3 called "Tingle Television." The hour-long show includes stand-up comedy, interviews with local and not-so-local politicians and celebrities. The program is a collaborative production of the Somerville City Channel, SCAT, and Jimmy Tingle. The show editor is Elissa Mintz. Somerville Community Access Television’s mission is to provide a public access media center that enables a vibrant, diverse, and evolving community to express its creativity, explain its ideas, share its cultures, and embrace the individual’s right to freedom of speech.
